I’d have to agree that Brut is the de facto deodorant of manly men. Unfortunately, I’ve not been wearing it lately.

This observation is one sided. For I would declare that Old Spice Red Zone is the epoch manly deodorant. You can wear Brut if you would like, but that is only if you would like to smell like 80 year old men. Now, you’re my pastor to whom I humbly submit; however, on some issues even you must be held accountable.

I love these parallels! I also love how John answers the question of ‘who is able to stand’ in the next chapter. Revelation 7:9-10–”After this I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, STANDING before the throne and before the Lamb, robed in white, with palm branches in their hands. They cried out in a loud voice, saying ‘Salvation belongs to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” If anyone is in Christ, he can stand. Woe to those who put their faith in men.

I’m lovin’ that you’re studying Revelation with the men and women in your church. It’s my favorite. No other book in the NT is more entrenched in the OT than Revelation. Keep it up!
